WHAT DO YOU THINK CANCER CARE SHOULD LOOK LIKE IN CANADA?

The Partnership has announced plans to launch a public engagement process on the future of cancer care – and we want to hear from you. In October, all Canadians and interested stakeholders will be invited to share their feedback through an online survey.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING NOW?

For more than 10 years, the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer and hundreds of partners from across the country have supported the vision of the Canadian Strategy for Cancer Control, a future in which:
  • fewer Canadians develop cancer,
  • fewer die from it,
  • and those affected by the disease have a better quality of life.

While much progress has been made, the Strategy is now 12 years old. It’s time to evolve for the future – and we need your help.

BACKGROUND MATERIALS

The Partnership has prepared a background paper setting out a starting point for discussion, summarizing the consultation process and providing an overview of the Canadian cancer strategy.
